Velocity Incubator is designed to provide entrepreneurs of disruptive startups with the resources necessary to get the company to rapid growth. The Velocity Incubator program helps the CEO/President down the path to market through a customized approach that fills the gaps and needs of the startup in six main activities of a business venture:

  • business development (and by extension, marketing),
  • product/service development,
  • product/service distribution,
  • finance and financial strategies,
  • organization (Infrastructure/team), and
  • corporate structures.

VelocityTX will take an equity or royalty position in the company thereby having a vested interest in moving the company forward to success.

Admission Criteria

Primarily Life Science Startup

May have revenue, grants or investments

Have a proven concept through an approved accelerator program or other approved program

May have a legal entity established and may require physical lab or office space

Have a prototype or clinic research

Program Success Metrics
  • Client's need for space outgrows the physical capacity of the Center
  • Client has the ability to afford commercial building rates
  • Client no longer has the need for shared services
  • The business has experienced significant levels of revenue growth or profitability
  • Client can continue and grow operations without further assistance from the Center
  • Once the Client has met the assigned metrics in their respective milestones and/or the above factors become relevant, a graduation event will be scheduled.
