Incubator Program
Accelerate your entrepreneurial journey from idea to impact as a member of the VelocityTX incubator. Scaled to your unique stage of development, our two- to five-year program connects you with the resources you need to scale, offering industry-specific guidance, state-of-the-art facilities, and invaluable networking opportunities. Not ready to commit to a private office? Not a problem. VelocityTX offers hybrid programming for companies looking for startup assistance without incurring the expense of an office space.
Requirements and Eligibility
- • Incorporated in the U.S. with a U.S. bank account
- • Focus in the life sciences
- • Located in San Antonio, TX or willing to relocate
- • Have a team of two or more
- • Demonstrate traction through at least two of the following :
- ○ Intellectual property rights (i.e., copyright, trade secret, software, invention disclosures, patent applications, etc.)
- ○ Proof-of-concept testing or prototype
- ○ Funding (private or public)
- ○ Completion of a qualifying accelerator or pre-accelerator program
Program Expectations
- • Meeting with mentors
- • Coaching meetings with VelocityTX Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) to create a plan for business growth using the Growth Wheel Methodology
- • Attend educational trainings (BioLaunch Courses) and networking events (Connect with VelocityTX)
- • Promote progress, success, and program updates on company's social media channel
- • Attend VelocityTX BioGlobal Accelerator Program's Demo Day
- • Provide company data on progress twice a year
