VelocityTX: The Intersection of Healthcare and Defense

Leveraging our region’s unique strengths in bioscience research, development, and commercialization, VelocityTX seeks to establish a first-of-its-kind military medical innovation facility on the VelocityTX campus.

By co-locating military medical research organizations together with select representatives from academia, industry, and the startup community, this facility would promote military-civilian collaboration to accelerate the speed at which emerging technologies can be deployed by the armed forces.

Paving the way for this project, VelocityTX has established strategic partnerships and a wide range of programming to address the current and anticipated needs of our key military medical stakeholders.

Military Office Hours

VelocityTX has partnered with the Defense Health Agency and the US Army Institute of Surgical Research to promote collaboration between military medical innovators and the private sector through one-on-one consultations designed to drive innovation and improve healthcare outcomes for America’s warfighters.
