DoD SBIR/STTR programs fund innovations that offer a potential military application. McDermott Legacy Fund
The McDermott Legacy Fund was established to advance San Antonio’s bioscience ecosystem by creating jobs for local medical and science graduates and attracting educated professionals to the city. Between 2009 and 2017, the fund invested over $2.4 million in local bioscience startups.
