Scaled to your unique stage of development, our two- to five-year program connects you with the resources you need to scale, offering industry-specific guidance, state-of-the-art facilities, and invaluable networking opportunities. Not ready to commit to a private office? Not a problem. VelocityTX offers hybrid programming for companies looking for startup assistance without incurring the expense of an office space.
Requirements and Eligibility
- EIncorporated in the U.S. with a U.S. bank account
- EFocus in the life sciences
- ELocated in San Antonio, TX or willing to relocate
- EHave a team of two or more
- EDemonstrate traction through at least two of the following :
- EIntellectual property rights (i.e., copyright, trade secret, software, invention disclosures, patent applications, etc.)
- EProof-of-concept testing or prototype
- EFunding (private or public)
- ECompletion of a qualifying accelerator or pre-accelerator program
Program Expectations
- EMeeting with mentors
- ECoaching meetings with VelocityTX Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) to create a plan for business growth using the Growth Wheel Methodology
- EAttend educational trainings (BioLaunch Courses) and networking events (Connect with VelocityTX)
- EPromote progress, success, and program updates on company's social media channel
- EAttend VelocityTX BioGlobal Accelerator Program's Demo Day
- EProvide company data on progress twice a year
